Silent change tracking
Every human edit is recorded in a hidden change log: timestamp, collaborator email, sheet name, cell address, old and new values, and action type. Row and column inserts and deletes, sheet renames, and sheet deletion are captured too. Editors never see the UI—only the file owner can open the sidebar—while logging continues in the background.
Recovery protection
On Pro, pick one Critical Sheet to mirror continuously for recovery. When large-scale edits happen or the Critical Sheet is removed, AuditMySheet adds dated recovery point tabs so you can copy values back manually. This is operational safety—not a substitute for regulatory compliance, and not a one-click restore.
Search and export

Only the spreadsheet owner. Editors and viewers have no access to the AuditMySheet menu, sidebar, or any system tabs. Changes are still logged silently when editors make edits.
No. The add-on runs silently in the background. Your team works normally — they will not notice it is active.
If the deleted sheet is your designated Critical Sheet, AuditMySheet automatically promotes the recovery mirror to a dated recovery tab and alerts you in the sidebar. Non-critical sheet deletions are logged in the change log.
Full recovery is available for one Critical Sheet on Pro. The change log records every edit across all sheets so you always know what changed and when.
Changes made by scripts, Zapier, or API connections are not captured. AuditMySheet tracks human edits made directly in Google Sheets.
