Terms of Service
Effective April 1, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AuditMySheet Google Sheets add-on ("Service") offered by the publisher identified in the Google Workspace Marketplace listing. By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Acceptance of terms
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Service. Your use of Google Workspace and Google Sheets remains subject to your agreement with Google.
Description of the Service
AuditMySheet provides spreadsheet owners with tools to record human edits in a hidden change log (including structural changes such as row/column insert or delete and certain sheet events), optional recovery-related tabs for one designated Critical Sheet on eligible paid plans, and owner-only UI for configuration and review. The Service does not capture changes made solely by external scripts, automation platforms, or API clients; does not provide guaranteed regulatory compliance; and does not send your spreadsheet data to external servers operated by us for processing.
Free and Pro tiers
Free tier includes a preview of the change log (up to 1,000 rows) and status monitoring, as described in the Marketplace listing and in-product help.
Pro tier unlocks the full change log within the rolling limits of the product, search and filter, export, Critical Sheet mirror protection, and recovery point tabs as described in the listing. Features may evolve; material changes will be communicated as required by Google or applicable law.
Payment terms
Pro subscriptions are sold through the Google Workspace Marketplace at the price shown at purchase (currently USD $8 per month unless otherwise displayed in your region or currency). Google processes payment and renewal. Taxes may apply. Your billing relationship for the subscription is with Google per Google's terms for Marketplace purchases.
Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel or manage your Pro subscription through the Google Workspace Marketplace or your Google administrator tools, as applicable. Refund eligibility follows Google Marketplace policies and the terms presented at checkout. After cancellation, Pro features may cease at the end of the current billing period.
Acceptable use
You are responsible for your use of the Service in compliance with applicable laws, your employer's policies, and Google's acceptable use policies. You will not misuse the Service to access spreadsheets you are not authorized to use or to harass others.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ALL EDITS OR EVENTS WILL BE LOGGED.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD $50), EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
Changes to the Terms
We may modify these Terms. We will post the updated Terms on this site with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance, where permitted by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction specified in the Marketplace listing or our corporate formation, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer protection laws require otherwise.
GDPR and UK/EU users
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process personal data in connection with the Service and our marketing website in line with applicable law. We provide the descriptions in our Privacy Policy of what we collect, why we process it, and the legal bases we rely on (including consent for non-essential cookies and legitimate interests where stated).
Your rights under GDPR
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object to certain processing, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. How to exercise these rights for data we control is described in our Privacy Policy.
Data processors (including Google Analytics)
We use service providers to operate our business. For website analytics on auditmysheet.com, Google Analytics 4 may process usage data as a processor when you consent to analytics cookies. Google also provides infrastructure for Google Workspace, Google Sheets, and Apps Script when you use the add-on. Your relationship with Google is also governed by Google's terms and privacy policies.
